Shopping
In Salisbury...
The George Mall is one of the
premium choices for those who want to do a spot of shopping in Salisbury. In
contrast to the high tech, shiny new complexes that most malls employ, George
Mall in Salisbury is somewhat different – the buildings date back to the 13th
century. There are over 40 shops, including a selection of big names such as
Dixons, WH Smiths, River Island, Orange and so on.
The oldest market in Salisbury, and
possibly one of the oldest in England is held in Market Square. The
stalls are open every Tuesday and Saturday and it’s nice to shop here just
as part of the Salisbury experience.
Just opposite Market Square is the
popular Debenhams with a wide variety of clothing and other items.
